Tokyo World 2019 is set to be bigger and better than ever. The two-day weekend urban dance and music festival returns in September with a line-up of more than 100 artists in Bristol’s Eastville Park – and Armasec will be making it a hat trick of providing security services for the event.
This year’s huge line-up of DJs and live acts – including Groove Armada, Sister Sledge, Moorcheeba and Action Bronson – is expected to attract a record crowd of up to 20,000 per day.
This year, Armasec will be supplying full security for the build and break, internal and external response teams and covering every stage and bar. They’ll also be deploying patrol teams on push bikes and playing an active part in the successful egress at the end of the night.
“Tokyo World will have been running for six years this year and this will be our third with Tom” explains Cat Manaei, Business and Event Manager for Tokyo World.
“I’ve worked with Armasec a lot in the past for corporate events and festivals. We have a really good relationship with them and it’s always been an absolute pleasure working with Tom and all the staff”.
Cat explains there are many reasons why they chose Armasec for their event, “We’ve worked with quite a few security firms and Armasec are just so easy to work with. Tom’s very unique, intelligent and brings such a lot to the event, especially in the planning and running of it”.
